Paper metadata is fetched live from OpenAlex, which is itself seeded from Crossref DOI registrations. resea.org does not host paper full text and does not maintain a private copy of the literature: every paper page links back to the publisher of record and to doi.org.

It is a LaTeX editor with an AI assistant. It drafts, continues, rewrites, shortens, expands and proofreads sections, renders a live preview with KaTeX, searches OpenAlex for sources, inserts citation keys, builds the bibliography, and exports a compilable .tex file.
It covers the drafting half of the work: writing, citing and revising with AI, then exporting LaTeX. It does not compile PDFs in the cloud, so you export the .tex and compile it wherever you already do, or print the preview to PDF.
The assistant is instructed never to invent citation keys, DOIs or numeric results. Citation keys come only from papers you added from OpenAlex, and unsupported claims are flagged with a citation-needed marker for you to resolve.
The beta is free, with a daily AI request limit per browser so the service stays available. Paid plans are planned after launch, starting around $9 per month for heavier use.
